To wish our family and friends a happy holiday season and start to a new year, we often reach for our technology. A text, an email, or even a social media post will do the job. We might even pick up our phone and give them a call. Not so long ago communication was not so quick or easy. A letter or a postcard might have to suffice.

Mrs. G.B. Todd of Mahomet received this Christmas postcard in 1908. It may seem outdated, but there is still something special about the simple beauty of a greeting card.
