Darlene has been volunteering in Collections for over 6 years! She came to us after the closure of the Chanute Air Museum in Rantoul, where she worked with our curator Mark Hanson for 5 years.

In her time here Darlene has worked on cataloging and data entry projects, including the Hoskins Archive and many dozens more! She says her favorite project was cataloging the William E. Basehart collection that also came to us from the Chanute Air Museum. Today Darlene is working on attaching PDFs of recently transcribed letters to their catalog records, making it very easy for staff and researchers to access the content of each letter.

In her retirement Darlene also enjoys cross stich and organizing old family photos. Thank you Darlene for your many years of service!
