Thanks to Visit Champaign County and everyone else who came out to our Reaccreditation Celebration! It takes a village to operate the museum and we’re honored to serve such a supportive community!

Visit Champaign County was able to take this photograph of our amazing staff with our Reaccreditation Certifiacte and wrote the following on their facebook page:

We want to congratulate the Museum of the Grand Prairie for achieving accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums - the highest honor a museum can achieve in the nation! Out of 33,000 museums in the country, only 1100 of them have this recognition. Thank you, Museum of the Grand Prairie, for your continued excellence in our community.
