As we settle into the new school year, The Museum of the Grand Prairie in the Champaign County Forest Preserve District sends our thanks and appreciation to all teachers in Champaign County and beyond!

This artifact is from the Doris Hoskins Archives for Cultural Diversity housed here at the museum. It is the plan book of Ms. Bernice Palmer, at Bottenfield Elementary, in 1978.

We know how hard teachers work, and how they strive to plan engaging activities for their students. We offer many options to help bring History and Culture alive for your class!

We have several field trip options available, as well as learning/lending tubs. We are happy to work with teachers to meet the needs of their students.
