The Champaign County Forest Preserve District has been closely monitoring information related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and will be taking the following precautions to ensure the safety of preserving visitors and staff. 

All educational and public programs and events scheduled between March 14 and April 12, 2020, have been canceled. In addition, the Museum of the Grand Prairie at Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve and the Interpretive Center at Homer Lake Forest Preserve will be closed to the public during this time.

At this time, we are working with parties who have rental events scheduled to cancel or postpone those gatherings. Full refunds or credits for future rentals will be provided.
